Marta Acosta was born in California and raised in El Paso, Texas. After graduating fromJefferson High School, she attended UTEP where she received a Bachelor’s in Accounting, and Texas Tech University School of Law. While in school, Marta was a member of the Estate Planning and Community Property Journal where she served as Comment Editor. During her third year of law school, Marta was given the privelege to be part of the Criminal Defense Clinic at Texas Tech University School of Law where she represented indigent clients in their criminal matters.
Before Marta began working at James R. Rey Attorneys at Law, P.C., she worked at a local non-profit where she assisted undocumented children in their immigration issues.
When Marta is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and her dog Goliath.
